If you’re looking to save a few bucks during your next outing, try any of these more inexpensive cocktails being served throughout Sacramento.

In early 2018, the owners of Iron Horse Tavern launched this new casual Mexican bar concept after their neighbors, Dos Coyotes Border, closed their doors. This vibrant and colorful eatery is an exciting place to visit, whether you’re on the hunt for creative tacos, a rice bowl, brunch food, guacamole, and of course — unparalleled margaritas and craft cocktails. One of the more inexpensive options on the list is the Michelada, made with your choice of lager, Bloody Mary mix, lime, tabasco and tajin.

This Arden-Arcade hotspot is a relatively new addition to the neighborhood. Serpentine Fox serves a wonderful selection of traditional gastropub food crafted and presented with a modern, upscale twist. Their drink menu perfectly complements the delicious food offerings. You can get the Paloma, Gold Rush and Bella Fragola for just $7 at Serpentine Fox! The Paloma is made with Campo Azul 100% Agave Reposado Tequila, fresh lime and pellegrino pompelmo. The Gold Rush is comprised of Old Forrester Bourbon, fresh lemon, and house local honey syrup. And the Bella Fragola is made with Kettel One Vodka, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, fresh strawberries, and fresh basil leaves.

Hideaway is an eclectic and cozy dive bar just a few blocks from Gunther’s Ice Cream in Curtis Park. It has a tiki patio, an old school jukebox, pool and air hockey tables, and quirky decor throughout. You can get their Skinny Mule, made with Absolut Vodka, lime juice, soda water, Sprite, and a splash of Angostura bitters, for just $6.
