10 Unique Glamping Destinations Near Sacramento

There’s nothing quite as refreshing as a camping trip. It’s one of the best ways to feel completely immersed in nature, as you take in scenic views, create your own fire, listen to wildlife and get a breath of fresh air.

That sounds nice and all, but sometimes it’s nice to skip tent setup frustration, unpredictable weather conditions and other unforeseen camping mishaps. You have probably heard of “glamping” — or glamourous camping — which has become a growing trend in the travel world. Glamping provides a unique combination of rustic outdoor living with modern luxuries and conveniences, like a canvas tent, running water, electricity, and in some cases, an enclosed structure.

Take a look at these incredible glamping destinations throughout Northern California, including canvas tents, yurts, treehouses, trailers and more unique accommodations! Plus, we included an array of beautiful settings, including mountains, vineyards, lakes, rivers, the ocean and more.

If you’d rather skip the glam and pitch your own tent, check out these incredible campgrounds within two hours of Sacramento!
