Jerry Bringham has been our Realtor for over a decade, and has helped us to purchase three homes, and sell two homes. I would strongly encourage anyone looking to buy or sell to work with Jerry. Jerry’s top qualities include extreme patience, reliability, responsiveness, and negotiating skills.
Jerry was our Realtor when we were buying our first home in the Elk Grove area. As new buyers, we were not familiar with the area or with what to look for in a home. Jerry spent a great deal of time helping us to understand that there is more to making a solid purchase than just “Oh, we like the paint!”. He took the time to explain how to find the right neighborhood, what was important for resale, and all the pros and cons for each home we looked at. He made himself available to accommodate our busy work schedules, and helped us to buy our home quickly during a time when multiple offers were common.
When it came time to sell our first home, Jerry helped us sell at a significant profit, and concurrently purchase a new construction home through the builder. He later helped us to sell that home and purchase our dream home in Rancho Murieta. With each transaction, we ran into a number of challenges with lenders, buyers, etc. and Jerry was with us every step of the way, solving problems and making sure that our transactions occurred the way we wanted. Jerry put us in touch with one of his many great contacts in town when our lender was not performing during our recent purchase. His persistence ensured that we closed on the home on time and on budget. Jerry even attended each of our closings, making himself available to answer questions and ensure all the terms we agreed to were represented in our final papers.

Jerry always takes the time to listen to what is important to us and ensure we do not lose sight of what we are looking for. When buying, he only showed us properties that met our specific wants and needs. He was not pushy about properties, and was happy to let us relook at final selections as often as needed to make the right choice. As a result, we have been happy with every purchase, and with the outcome of every sale.
Reliability and Responsiveness
Jerry follows through with his promises. For example, at the beginning of every transaction he would share when we could expect return calls and emails, and followed through every time. Even if we did not have a specific question, he would regularly check in to share updates on transactions, available properties, etc. Jerry accommodated our busy schedules and helped us to get our offers in timely to ensure we were competitive in multiple offer situations.
Two of our three purchases were multiple offer situations. I remember clearly talking to friends and coworkers that took many months to find a home AND get an offer accepted; more importantly, I remember telling each of these friends and coworkers that Jerry helped us find a home and go into contract in just a couple of weeks. Jerry demonstrated incredible negotiating skills each time. He helped us to write letters when it would be helpful, write solid offers to get what we needed, and to offer the right amount of money to ensure we would get the home without overpaying. When dealing with buyers, Jerry helped us to get the best price and terms from each buyer. He would work closely with the buyer’s agent to get a feel for how to the write counter offers to get acceptance, and picked out any oddities in the offers and helped us to understand what we should and should not accept.
In summary, Jerry has been our Realtor through five transactions and many years for a reason. He is the best in town, he represents our interests entirely, and at the end of each transaction, we were informed and fully satisfied with the outcome.
