I started in the mobile home / manufactured home business in 1983, working for my brother the founder of Metro Mobile Homes. We were selling almost exclusively In-Park sales. I was promoted to sales manager in 1989. I was promoted to Manager in 1996. In 2002 My brother decided to retire and I passed my Dealer examination and purchased Metro Mobile Homes from him. In 2003 I became a dealer for "Karsten Homes, I hired my brother back in 2003 when I added the Karsten line to our inventory of sales products. He was in charge of all new installations and sales of new Manufactured homes. In 2011 I passed my real estate examination and became a "REALTOR" and added residential (conventional) real estate to my credentials. In 2013 I gave up my Dealers license. I am now working strictly through my current broker Lyon Real Estate. They are the leaders in the Sacramento area with 17 offices to help both me (and more importantly) my clients. I have also done many speaking engagements for GSMOL and they asked me to speak at there Convention this year. I have written several articles on mobile home sales. In 2015-2016 I helped GSMOL change some of the outdated laws in California. GSMOL is the major institution in California to protect residents of mobile homes since 1962. They fight for the rights of residents in mobile home parks. I am also a board member in my park.
