Spring Lake is a planned community in southeast Woodland. Stretching out over nearly 1,100 acres, the neighborhood will eventually consist of more than 4,000 homes. It sits south of Gibson Road, primarily between County Road 102 and State Route 113. The plan was designed with the city’s historic neighborhoods in mind, and encourages livability, walkability and social interaction.
It is situated between two shopping centers and includes Pioneer High School and Woodland Community College within its boundaries, with Willow Spring Elementary and Woodland Christian High School just blocks away. Prairie Park, Pioneer Park and Mountain Valley Golf Center are also close by.
Woodland is located about 20 miles from Sacramento at the intersection of Interstate 5 and State Route 113, making it a convenient commute for professionals wishing to live outside the hustle and bustle of urban life. Spring Lake’s proximity to Highway 113 also makes for a convenient commute to Davis.
